One of the key features of Tap Forms 5 is its flexibility in organizing different types of data. With over 30 customizable templates built-in, as well as the ability to create your own forms, you can input a wide range of information such as pictures, doodles, audio recordings, calculations, file attachments, ratings, and even links to other forms. This level of customization allows you to tailor the app to suit your unique organizational needs.

The app offers a variety of ways to capture and input data. Whether it's through snapping pictures, typing or scribbling text, recording audio notes, or scanning barcodes, Tap Forms 5 provides 23 different options for capturing information.

Creating and designing custom forms is easy with Tap Forms 5's integrated form building tools. You can choose from ready-to-go templates or build a form from scratch to ensure optimal organization according to your preferences.

Security is a top priority for Tap Forms 5. You have the option to require a password or Touch ID scan for accessing your confidential data. Additionally, the app offers auto-locking after a specified period of inactivity. Using AES encryption, your data is encrypted and protected.

Importing and exporting data is seamless with Tap Forms 5. You can easily import data from existing files in various formats such as text, CSV, and Bento. One-tap exporting allows you to share your data with users on Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.

In addition to its core features, Tap Forms 5 offers advanced functionalities such as scripting support for performing complex operations on your forms and records. Siri Shortcuts allows you to create voice commands to execute Form scripts. The app also provides multi-column views, AirDrop capabilities to share records with nearby contacts, and the option to sync your data across devices using iCloud, IBM Cloudant, Nearby (WiFi), or your own Apache CouchDB sync server.

Other notable features include saved search rules with multi-field record filtering, built-in backup and restore options, integration with 1Password Extension for easy login to your Cloudant sync account, document picker support for accessing iCloud and other document service providers, pick lists for quick data entry, AES-256 bit encryption for added security, printing of record details, lightning-fast search functionality, the ability to share form templates with others, alerts for important notifications, and barcode scanning for UPC/EAN and QR codes (iOS only).

With Tap Forms 5, you can store up to 25 different types of information including scripts, tables, relational links between forms, file attachments with multi-file support, email addresses, GPS locations, contacts, text, dates, times, numbers, ratings, website addresses, checkmarks, notes, audio notes (recorded on iOS and playback on Mac), photos, drawings (created on iOS and viewed on Mac), phone numbers, section headings, calculations, and signatures.

The app comes preloaded with more than 30 built-in forms covering a range of categories such as audio dictation, bank accounts, clients management, client call logs, credit and debit cards, daily journal entries< expenses tracking, frequent flyer numbers management< health insurance tracking, homework assignments management, loyalty card management, personal health cards tracking, security alarm codes management, serial numbers tracking< vehicle insurance details, website account management, and wine collection organization.
